Show Off Your Sigs/Avatars V1

You may show off any Avatars or Signatures you display. Here are some rules..

1. If the image is over 500x600, please keep it in a link. If it is not in a link, a Mod/Administrator please edit it so that the link will be seen instead of the image!

Guess I will be first to post my works, and to give you guys an example.

The only thing i will say is that you need to work on the fonts, do not try to use hard fonts, sometimes simple fonts are better then hard ones

Guess I will show off a recent Sig and Avatar I made for my friend.

Nice, but did you use overlay, screen, or Divide layers? It does seem kinda bright. I like it though.

Meh. I still have not downloaded any of my brushes, so I have to work on stock sigs for a little and improve on it. I went on youtube, used GIMP to take a ScreenShot, then edited it.

No, I use just a black pencil for that. Also, I use a lot of Gamma + Contrast + Brightness. Well sometimes I do, it just makes the picture look more inviting to me. Now then, here are some other signatures I have inticipated....using GIMP with no downloaded brushes....

Ah now I notice.

Have you used unsharp Mask too much? Cause itwill turn your image brighter and darker and brighter. etc.

The Story: I decided that I wanted to use Photoshop. The Problem? I had no idea how to use it. Therefore, I just started to make a banner the best that I could. They suit my purposes just fine for the moment. I think I'm alright for having about 2 hours of experience on Photoshop...


You'll notice that all of the banners are different sizes. This is due to the various scenarios they were created for.

So far I like the first one cause of the part of creativity lol. Although backgrounds could be added.

You can make a brush background with brushes you can download off www.deviantart.com or get stocks, images already created but you edit for a background.

My entire sig is stock for example.

Alright, I had time to make one with NO CONTRAST. Just made it for the fun of it....

The lump you see on the far left down angle isn't a mistake. It was actually a paint brush circle that I used. The borders overlay both of the third ones, and was made with GIMP .

I like it better then your other ones, but I do not like the blue part very much.

Try giving it some more realism, blur the entire screen then set the eraser to 100% normal, blur out the focal point and the text, set it to a lower % and erase Ichigo Kurasaki Hollow. Then set it to an even lower opacity and erase the backround.

Other then that. I like it more then your other ones.

Ooh. All of these signatures look so cool.. If only I could make one... xD. Nice job, everyone!

Its nice, though if you want to blend it in to a websites background leave the stuff you do not need transparent and make it a GIF or PNG if that is what you mean lol.

Though the monarch is kinda classic. It should blend in with the color of the background.

Ooh, background is nice, border is nice, lighting is nice ^.^

What I do not really like much, is the text though. The "Mate" is a little kinda hard to read, and the Jack sparrow text is kinda smushed together.

Secondly. besides the bottom let part, there is some flow.
I still like it though. 9/10 =P

Hmm. Is that the sparks brush 0.0 I never seen it look so good unedited in a normal pic. I like this one, though thee are a few hard brush strokes you can see.

The second one is better with that curve lol. Though the flow is a little off. You have the "Nintendo Recharged" Facing to the top left, the background to the bottom left, and Mario at the bottom (Probably right.)

If you still have an xcf. image of it, upload it and try it out if you get all directions into one flow.
